Blocked drains occur due excessive build up of fats, hair and soaps. The natural micro-organisms within the product produce surfactants which are able to penetrate the organic waste and disperse the waste materials. Bacterial enzymes hydrolyse the organic waste and create a biofilm of useful bacteria in the drain system. This biofilm continuously breaks down organic waste as they adhere to the drain walls which prevents clogs from developing.
